Motherboard damage

I, anita, purchase a HCL laptop from DiGi Life (GARG AUOT AGENCY), Bus Stand Chowk, Bye Pass Road, Palwal (Fbd.), i purchase it on 30 th jan, vide invoce No. 258, HCL Serial No. C064AX263285 its motherboard damage in just one year, is it possible,

"Kya ek saal mein hi motherboard kharab ho jata hai"

Now co. says it cost 23, 500/- just unaffordable for me

What should i do?
