Faulty laptop

I have purchased HCL laptop srl no. A064Ax158757 in October'06 from Kolkata. ever since i bought it, it started giving problems. DVD writer never worked as writer, key board switches not responding, finally dead. after six months it stopped working at all (no booting). however, service centre obliged partly, and replaced mother board and dvd writer, but no attention was paid for faulty key board and card reader, which never worked. lastly, battery has stopped working (complete dead). when i approached HCL service centre, they asked me approx. Rs.1- for repair and battery changes. i enquired prices of all individual parts like mother board, hard disk, ram etc. and to my shock, it comes around Rs. 1 lakh, if all the parts be counted togather! wow, what a loot it is... for example only motherboard costs Rs.24000/-, whereas, one can buy a new laptop in Rs.2-. so, it appears that, theses companies like HCL are in the market to take undue advantage of poor customers. there should be some law reagrding this to prevent such ugly practices by thses kind of so called nice companies.

IS THERE SOMEBODY??? WHO CAN PLAESE SUGGEST ME SOMETHING OUT OF THIS???
