I, M.P.K.BHARADWAJ, S/o.M.V.R.MANOHAR RAO, resident of Malkajgiri-Hyderabad has seen an advertisement in news paper regarding the HCL PC MELA. I contacted about the product and i liked one configuration and price of a computer system.
I then went to the IVEL COMPUTERS SHOWROOM, Habsiguda-Hyderabad who is a Dealer of HCL Computers and there through BAJAJ AUTO FINANCE LTD., I purchased the above product with the following specification: 2GB RAM, INTEL CORE2 DUO PROCESSOR, 160 GB HARDDISK etc. and the same day when I got approval from Bajaj people, have submitted the documents, Cheques & Down Payment amount Rs.5900 and went home along with the sealed new computer system. The Engineer from IVEL COMPUTERS has come with me and installed the system at my house. But when the engineer left, I came to know that the RAM in the system was 1GB. I purchased 2GB configuration system.
As I went to inform the above to the IVEL Computers through telephone, I faced illtreat. For more than 20 days, they said they will give the additional 1GB ram in person. till now not reply and when last wednesday my father went to their office, he was illtreated and they conveyed they will give the RAM only at my residence and since all these days there was no reply and yesterday i was informed that only when the first instalment cheque was cleared only they will give the RAM. This was an order from the BAJAJ AUTO FINANCE.
Is this true sir? Has Bajaj put this type of Rule? Only for me or for every application. How far it is correct to stop a product until the clearence of first Cheque. Kindly clear my problem within 24 hors from the reciept of this letter. or else i will proceed to the higher authorities for justice. Please do the needful and oblige.
