Harassment by a customer support office

I had submitted an application for closure of my OD account in the Vasant Vihar branch of HDFC bank on January 05. Mr. Abhishek Guleria accepted my application and gave me a receipt for the same. In about a month's time I was informed over phone by Mr. Guleria that I need to approach the Deer Park branch of HDFC bank for closing my OD account.
In the evening of February 12 I received a call at my home (landline) from Mr. Kapil Kumar Gupta, who is a customer support officer at the Deer Park branch of HDFC bank. He informed me that I can walk in the Deer Park branch on any working day and contact him for closure of my OD account. He further told that he would be available from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays and from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. He told me to carry a set of supporting documents and explained me the location of the bank and how to reach there. He talked to me for about 5 minutes over phone.
However, when I reached the Deer Park branch at 3:45 pm on February 13, I was refused entry by the security guards. They did not even pass on the message to Mr. Kapil Kumar Gupta nor did they allow me to talk to the receptionist. I called the numbers 41392235 and 41392239 (provided by the securitymen) several times. The calls were not answered. I came back waiting for half an hour.
I visited the Deer Park branch again at 11:45 am on February 14, Saturday. When I met Mr. Kapil Kumar Gupta, he denied having made any call to me and refused any help. I was shocked at the behaviour of a responsible employee of HDFC bank. I reminded him about our conversation two days earlier, but he denied any knowledge of the matter altogether.
It is a matter of great shame that HDFC bank is recruiting and nurturing abject liars like Mr. Kapil Kumar Gupta. I hope the management takes necessary action against Mr. Gupta for harassing a customer of the bank.
