Complain against blocakage of HDFC ATM cum Debit Card (A/c: 00261050044687)

My ATM cum Debit Card is blocked by the HDFC bank without giving any intimation to the undersigned / account-holder (HDFC A/c No: 00261050044687).

Upon enquiring today i.e. 21.09.2009 from customer-care at 011-41514332 (Ms Rashmi-Ms Pooja-Mr Karan) I have been informed that due to security reasons the card was blocked by the HDFC bank but unable to tell what kind of security reason or instance which prompted HDFC Bank to take this step without bothering to inform the account-holder? And moreover HDFC executives shown their inability to do something in this regard which can lead to immediate resolution to my problem even Ms. Shewta of Grievance Cell at 022-28569303 seems to be helpless in this regard.

Also I have been informed that the reason for blocking the card may also due to the fact that I was not available when contacted by the concerned team. In this regard I wish to inform that nobody from HDFC has tried to contact me on my mobile no: 09873099901.

I am of the opinion, I have been unnecessarily harassed by sudden blockage / deactivation of my ATM cum Debit card due to which I have suffered a lot as yesterday being Sunday I was unable to draw money and the same thing I am facing today and don’t know for how long it will continue and that too inspite of calling on every possible contact no but of no avail.

Could somebody responsible take required action which can lead to immediate resolution of my problem.
