Abuse and indimidation for payment

• My friend and colleague Ms Tapati Nandy informed me that she has received a call from HDFC Credit Card Collection Department, Nayapalli Branch Bhubaneswar asking her to “make the payment on my behalf for the minimum amount due of Rs 2400 in an absolutely intimidating and abusive language. The concerned ladies even threatened to send a person to her house to collect the above mentioned amount.” The call was made from 0674-2391045.These

• This call was made without any such instructions from my side and my knowledge.

• There was another similar kind of incident on 26th of April where-in the call centre executive used abusive language when my mother received the call at my residence.

• My credit amount due is around Rs 48000 due for which I have paid roughly Rs 57000 as interest alone.

• Some names that have come up in these calls were
