HDFC Savings account forged check and Credit card usage

Dear Sir/Madam,

There was a robbery in my house on 16th Sep I have lost all my belongings along with my credit cards and bank documents, in that lost items even HDFC credit card (number XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-0443) and cheque book were also there.

After that I have filed a FIR (First Information Report) with Police about my lost belongings along with the details of the HDFC card lost and cheque book.

1st issue:

I had HDFC savings account with account # 3171140009702 and I had lost my cheque book in the robbery. As soon as I realised I have blocked the entire series of cheque, I have even lodged a complaint went along with Crime branch in HDFC Bank Kalyan nagar branch and collected the forged cheque which is with police. Mistakes from HDFC Bank:

1. My signature did not match and Police has a Xerox of the cheque (HDFC Bank Kalyan nagar) collected from them.

2. Even if it is self cheque HDFC was supposed to take the ID & signature in font of the teller before he approves it, which did not.

For all these mistakes which HDFC bank has done? I am suffering for it. which I have lost around 26, 000 Rs taken from my savings account of forged signatures. Lodged a complaint and nothing happens. Hoping to get teh justice raising teh concern to Consumer form.

2nd issue:

I had HDFC credit card which have cleared all the balances five years back and I have never used the card for a long time and there were some add on card which were sent which I have not being using it and didn't knew that there was a card too.

I regret that HDFC has approved a fake signature of the culprit that he had swiped, I have been getting calls from collection agents and I am very unhappy about the calls that I was getting and giving trouble to my parents with mental harassment. I have asked for all the details of the receipts. They do not send the receipts. I have lodged a complaint against this and submitted all the required proofs (FIR copy, DISPUTE Forms Date : 25th sep 2008) and asking for reverting the charges. They did not do.

3rd issue:

Without consulting me, HDFC has withdrawn money from my HDFC savings account of the amount which was misused by culprit. Again Here I have lost the money from savings account, due to which there PDC cheques which I have given in 2003 regarding my car loan was bounced and I had to pay for that too.

Please help me Sir/Madam at least in getting back the money which I have lost with HDFC. If you need any information, proofs please ask me I will provide. Thanks in advance.
