There is lot of mismanagement at HDFC branch at Lajpat Nagar. No one addresses your issues and one is treated well for things that agents can get a commission on
I have been at receiving end many times, large value amounts take days to be credited, one has to run from pillar to post to get simple tasks done.
My husband holds a current account with branch and I am its authorized signatory Recently needed to send some money to US via wire transfer. I called HDFC for requirements stating that I am ailing with back injury and would not be able to take repeated bank trips so all that they required be told so that transaction could be done. I was told no issues I just have to fill a form and all will be done.
I travelled from Noida to Delhi and got the required form filled. Was made to fill forms in duplicate as there was no carbon available? Well lady at counter was busy on phone, after standing for 15 mts she did not hang up, had no time and when I gave her the form she nodded and I left.
Next day (May 26 I got a call from bank that this transaction cannot be done as I was just a signatory so I have to use my own account.
Did no one know the rules or they take customers for granted. Its disgusting I cannot take the exertion of going to bank, my husband needs money and they are so callous to our needs.
People should unite and get services that they deserve, these banks earn from customers and treat them as trash, DISGUSTING
