HDFC
Name in CIBIL

I had applied for an HDFC Educational loan which they rejected as my name appeared in the defaulters list of CIBIL. I was surprised to get this news as I never took any kind of loan in my entire life, then how was it possible that my name appeared in the loan defaulters list. Inspite of numerous emails I sent to HDFC, I haven't even got a copy of the CIBIL report. The HDFC loan dept. says its confidential and cant be shared. I even sent an email to the RBI to help me regarding this, they too haven't responded.

I might not get a loan from any bank, i guess. Please help to get rid of this situation.
