Lost of credit card

Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to bring it to your kind notice that my Credit Card no -4050282000891072 Platinum Card had been lost on 1/01/09 of which I came to know on 3/01/09 after its being misused at several Jewellers shops of Bangalore. Immediately I had called Hdfc Customer care and got my card blocked on 3/01/09 at 3pm. But at the same time customer care executive confirmed me that my Credit has been debited by Rs of (22050 28300 395 742) i.e. 51487.

In this regard, i have lodged a FIR (reg CMSSN002/09) and sent a Charge Dispute form to HDFC bank.

what option are now available to me conserdering the point that without verifying my signature Merchant has done transaction to an unknown culphrit. liability to pay the same is on my account now.

Although i have sent all copys stating in this regard to HDFC bank but till now hdfc recovery department people keeps calling me and harrasing me mentally.
