I have purchased a Credit Card from HDFC bank last year & i have lost it. I did immediately call customer care to block my card as i have lost it. At the end of the month when i received the monthly statement which was showing that still my card is active & high amount have been swiped from the card. Even after several reminders there was no response from Customer care, after 2 months they started harrasing me for payment not done, i did explain several time about the incident happen but they keep on harrasing me, they started sending people at my home & made them standing till midnight & started scaring me.
Finally i had word with Mr. Nikhil from HDFC who asked me to settle the account & i have agreed as being a female i was not in a condition to tolerate the harassments. he has asked me to pay 20 thousand on installment basis, which i have paid generically to avoid further harressment but now even i after paying the complete settlement amount they are not ready to give settlement Letter, neither they are answering my call ; i'm calling Nikhil but he transfers his call to some other person or dont bother to even response.
They have uploaded my name in defaulter list which is again i am suffering from several problems due to that.
Its my kind request to consumer court pls look into my matter & give me the justice...
