Cheated from Customer care of HDFC bank

I called HDFC credit card customer care on Jan-1 that is after my due date 24-Dec. That time i want to close my account in the new year with out any due. When i asked the executive she said some X amount you got reversal request and you need to pay XXXX amount they your account will not be any dues furthur. Then i paid what ever amount the customer care executive said and now when i checked my online statement again XXXX amount of finance carges and tax etc... is there. when i called the customer care executive they are telling
