Dear sir, I have 2 FDR of Hdfc ltd. which matured in 2001. But due to some reasons I couldnot renewed it. mean while I requested the bank to change of address as I shifted from Imphal to Guwahati. I requested them to correspondance with me at my new address. Now came to know that my money has been transfered into Consumer education fund. When I asked the bank that to whom they informed about it. They email me that they informed me on my imphal adress. When I complaint about this to them. the assistant manager Me Siddartha Basak said that the change of address was not done under the understanding that the same would be processed at the time of renewal of the Deposit.. Now when I informed them about my new adress int hat case how can they corresspodant with me at my old adress. How can I get back my money.
