HDFC Personal Loan
Money Mishandled & Irresponsibilty of Bank

Hi,

I have taken the Personal Loan in HDFC bank and i have produced Post Dated cheque for the Tenure months of the EMI payment.

Last month (Dec) my account balance was not sufficient for the EMI payment, hence the cheque i have submitted to the bank got bounced and my bank (Citi) have taken the Cheque bounce charge from my account, in the meanwhile HDFC called me and asked for the Dec month payment so i have payed the amount by cash on Dec 19 th with the Late Payment Charge. But after the cash payment done, the returned cheque again got processed by HDFC bank and the amount of same EMI has been taken from my account.

When i called the HDFC bank they file this as complaint but still nothing has happaned and i was helpless for the amount they have taken from my account as double payment for the same month.

Clearly my account says the cheque got processed but bank says they received only the cash payment when i talk to customer care of the bank.

Kindly do some needful and helpme out in this.
