Dear Sir,
With reference to the above, I have pre closed my personal loan on 9th Oct ’09 by paying Rs. 512, 148.00 thro’ Cheque.
Please note that I have been charged Pre closure charges of 4% and very high Interest for two days as below.
Pre closure charges 4% on Rs.490269.00 = Rs. 19, 611.00
Interest for 2 days for Rs.490269.00 = Rs. 2, 268.00

Total amount paid in excess = Rs. 21, 879.00

I had a mail correspondence HDFC to consider my request for last one week and exchanged various mails but they denied to oblige my request and asked me to get in touch with RBI or Banking Ombudsman.
I have attached their mail which they requested me to get in touch with you.
Kindly help me in getting refund of excess amount collected by them.
