Head Post Office, Bhiwani
R.D. Maturity amount less paid

Dear sir,

I have opened two nos. Recurring Deposit (R.Ds.) Accounts having Nos. 51328 and 51329 for Rs. 700/- and 800/- respectively with Head Post Office, Bhiwani, Haryana-127021 on 6th February with interest of 9%. Those two R.Ds. were matured on 5th February. When I withdrew the matured amount I got less amount than what should be the maturity amount. I sent an application regarding this on 22nd February but there was no reply. I approached the Post Master personaly so many times. There was many excuses. Again I sent a request letter to the Post Master on 4th June and met him personaly. Then he sent a letter to my residence stating that I have opened the F.Ds. during 1/3/02 to 28/2/03 and the amount given to me is correct. Actually I have opened the R.Ds. on 6th February and I remember that there was a talking that the interest rate would be decreased during March onwards so very hurrily I have opened the above two accounts to get some benefit of existing interest rates of that time.

How they are cheating me by saying some pretexts or the other.

I hereby submit my complaint to get me the right judgment as I am not satisfied with the words of the Post Mater, Bhiwani Head Post Office, Haryana.

Please advise me if I go to any other source for my claim.
