Complaint abt service centre

I have purchased a bike super splendor on 27.03.2006. now my bike silencer got rusted and made a hole . and gives a noisy sound. when i complaint to service centre, the engg. told me you will come after 10 days, the company engg. visit our service center. he will check ur bike . whenever the agency told me that the company give s three years warranty on silencer.

can you tell me which is right . may i claim it in warranty or not?
