CHEATING AND FRAUD BY AN INTERNATIONAL COMPANY'S SERVICE CENTRE

Dear Sir

On date 7th Aug I went to Hewellett Packard’s Authorized Service Centre, Simtech Computronics Pvt Ltd. With My laptop for some error in DVD Drive.

On the reception Table, a Lady filled up the form and took my signature and later after 5 minutes allowed me to go in.

A Service engineer checked my Laptop and said that DVD is not working hence I have to deposit my Laptop. Later I came to know that they could have taken my DVD Part No and there was no need to deposit laptop since they do not have the required part.

Again I came on reception and gave them my laptop for repair. This time no body asked my signature. The lady asked me for Laptop bag which I gave her. The adopter was inside bag. The lady simply took the bag and said I will get sms once the part comes.

On 11th Aug I enquired about my Part on telephone No 27540091, I was told that part is not available and it will take another Seven days. They also said if I need laptop I can take it and once the part arrives they will inform me.

Hence I send my colleague to collect the laptop which they returned, . My colleague asked for adopter on which they said that no adapter was given.

I again went to service centre where they again denied the Adopter.

I admit my negligence or innocence that I did not read each and every lines of the job card but that doesn’t allow them to steal the goods from my Laptop Bag. Once they took signature for allowing me to go onside, they should have taken another signature at the time of receiving laptop.

Later I found the Mismatch on the Duplicate copy which is very serious offence. The Original and Duplicate Job card has different remarks and the cross impression on Original and Duplicate does not match. Which clearly confirm that cross was made at the time when my colleague went to collect the laptop. Because they have already made a cross on duplicate without original copy. This is an intentional cheating case.

I request you to take necessary action and arrange for recovery of my adapter or register a case of Cheating and Fraud with Customers.

We trust on our Police and I am sure that truth will come out and the guilty will be punished so that this does not happen with others.
