Demandind to buy stoves or other private parties product

Sir, last year i applied to get an new connection of lpg providing by hindustan petrolium company.now i got an intimation letter from their distributer regarding alottment. i went there to collect the same, but they are asking me to buy a stove or other private company's products like cooker, rice cokker etc.this was against the rule of the said company.so i request you to find an solution in this regrd and advise me soon please.
