Nondelivery of Germ-Kill Battery

I would like to put a complain against Hindustan Lever Ltd (Product-Pure-it Filter) poor customer service. They were quick in delivering the Filter as soon as I ordered for it. I got the product delivered to my address just on the very day of placing the order. It should be noted that the water gets filter after passing through different stages of filtering. The most important and integral part of filtering process is the Germ-Kill Battery which needs to be changed after consuming 1500 liters of water (there is an indicator provided in the filter that shows that it needs to be changed, it turns red and one can know that it should be replaced). Now, the process of ordering such battery is that you need to call the pure-it helpline number where you have to book your order and they guarantee delivery of the same within 3 working days. I did as directed to me. I called the helpline and booked my order but even after 15 days, I didn't find anyone in my doorstep to deliver me the product. I called the local office (Zoo Road, Guwahati, Assam) and spoke with the same representative who delivered the filter to my address and he assured me to deliver the battery the very next day. Unfortunately, I am yet to receive the filter till date.

Of note, without the Germ-Kill Battery, the filter is a useless thing because the integral part of water purification is the Germ-Kill Battery.

Therefore, I would like to bring the attention of Consumer Forum for redressal of my grievance.
