Petrol pumps not accepting credit card payment

I regularly use my two wheeler and car and use HP products in them. In recent times, HP petrol pumps in pune (Aundh, Shivaji nagar - both the petrol pumps) are not accepting payment by Credit card. On enquiring with the staff, they are saying that they have been asked to do so by the bunk owner.
