Home loan EMI collections

With refernce to the concerned case, a person has come from HDFC bank as on 9th March 09 for the EMI collection. He called me up from his cell no. 9990876634 for almost 4-5 times before he arrived at my office at R 47, Greater Kailash 1.

He told his name as Vinod and has taken the EMI amount of INR 31413/- . When I confirmed with him if he will be able to deposit my homeloan EMI he said that he has been in to this business for a long time and there is no problem.

A scan copy of the reciept given to me from his end was from HDFC Bank Ltd. According to the organisation all the homeloans EMIs are to be collected by HDFC LTD and not by HDFC Bank. Further they have updated that there is no collection agency for the same.

The amount of the same is yet not updated in my loan account.

It is a very serious matter, as being a customer it is very difficult to be aware about the fact.
