Honda City
False servicing

Hi,

I have a Honda City (Type-1) model and i keep on driving the car from Mumbai to Pune every weekend. Last weekend i was in Mumbai and i took an appointment to get the car serviced in Hallmark Honda (Nerul).

I had asked specifically for normal servicing and Honda guys told me they have done the normal servicing for the same. When i received the car i saw the rear bumper was damaged and was in hanging state and i immediately called up the guy who attended the car and he asked me to bring the car to the showroom and he will recitify it. I took the car and he rectified the rear hanging bumper problem.

After 2 dyas when i drove the car from Mumbai to Pune, to my surpise the car was getting over heated and i stopped at the nearest food station on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. I allowed the car to cool down and after 30 mins when i checked the coolent i was shocked to see there was no coolent present in the radiator. I purchased 5 bottles of Bisleri and poured it in the radiator and drove the car till pune. After 2 days when i checked the water level in the radiator it was the same.

Next, when i called up Hallmark Honda and spoke to the service attendent he was trying to explain me that they have given the car in proper condition and it could be some other mechanical problem.

This is something ridiculous and intolerable, since the rear bumper was damaged and was hanging when the car was delivered and secondly the radiator coolent was not at all there. Hallmark Honda guys were not able to accept and understand the situation.

Would definately want somebody to look into such cases and get the issues sorted out.

Now, i have being asked by the attendent not to put any coolent in the radiator and bring the car to Hallmark Honda whenever i drive to Mumbai.

I think Honda should pay attention to services offered as well, apart from the sales objectives/targets given. The reason being people pay a lot of money and pay extra premium to get quality cars like Honda.

Now i feel, Maruti is the best car for Indian roads due to good service network and service offered.
