HONDA CITY EXI
All efforts in vain

I purchased a Honda city exi from a local dealer in Bangalore, on request i will disclose the name of the dealer, my car turned two recently, i happened to notice a leak an oil leak when i sent it to the company they said my gear box casing has developed a crack, ofcoz i sought the insurance to make good the loss, the insurance person bought to my notice that he saw some metal paste and some welding done on that surface previously, now i am told a car like Honda would definitely vouch for their parts for at least two years, its obvious in the previous service the repair centre tried fixing the issues hoping it does not resurface till 6 months by then the warranty term would be over, the insurance refuse to pay on account of the original fitting was tampered with and the Honda dealer refused to pay saying it had crossed the 2 years.

its a shame to companies who don't have the wherewithal to handle such product failures, Honda may be a good car, with its gear box crank case etc etc, failures, it just may be an expensive proposition after all, except if you would like a show piece to adorn your drive way may be then its a good choice to buy a Honda city, thank god life insurances don't work that way...
