Sub standard defective tyres

Dear Dharmendra,

I read ur complaint and do understand the pain u r going through... I too have similiar trouble with my Goodyear tyres... I am goign tio take them to consumer court as well as make sure they owe up and replac eall tyres of my car as these tyres are inferior and of very bad quality.

Goodyear service engg. came and 2sy refused that there was any manufacturing defect after arguing my case for a good 1 hour he said there could be an issue.. it is wrong attitude which they r getting away with which they should be penalized fo rit too.

I have Goodeyar GPS 2 on my city .. 2 tyres have got big bumps on the tyre wall and one rear tyre has uneven tread wear, after speaking to goodyear all india head Rajiv gupta .. he 1st refused any repalcement then came to 50 % cost and now have come down to Pro rata of cost with waer an tear .. now what I dont understand is that when I spoke to the sales head at Goodyear he said sir we can get ur tyres repalced at pro rata basis but go for the better quality product which is 35-3600/- as it is much better than GPS2 .. Imagine this a sales person of Goodyear telling mye this that yes GPS2 is not upto standard.

I hope Goodyear is reading this and so is Honda India... the GPS2 tyre is a sub standard tyre and they should be accountable for it. I demand a full replacement of all my 4 tyres with better tyres. I will be filing a consumer court case very soon.
