Bad Ancillary products

I purchased a Honda Civic Car (AT) in July from Prime Honda. I have got an unpleasant experience yesterday when I found that I wasn’t able to start my car all of a sudden. I called for a check and was surprised to see that the battery of my car was not functional and I was asked to purchase a new battery within 1 year and 4th month of buying my car. I have driven this car for 29000 Km only and to my surprise and shock battery of a prime car like this wasn’t functional. The only response I got from Prime Honda was that as the battery was out of warranty period so nothing can be done. As it was difficult to move without my car I got it replaced by paying Rs 4866 from my pocket.
I have a serious issue with Honda on this. I find it difficult to believe that Honda is using bad ancillary products in its cars. Before using this car I have used one Hyundai Santro and one corolla and have never seen something like this even after using it for 3 -4 years. I am unhappy with Honda and would like Honda to take responsibility of such a lapse and return me the amount of the new battery charged.
