Would like to know after how many years one need to change the Carburetor of Honda Unicorn???

I was having starting problem with my Honda Unicorn and also it gets stopped after going few meters.

I called a service station person and asked him to pick the bike from my house.

After that I got a call from service station and I was told that my bike is serviced as I have told them but they are unable to set the mileage but starting problem is fixed temporary because AIR screw is jammed and it cannot be open.

They told me to replace the Carburetor (Price is app RS 2800) so that mileage can be set and also starting problem.

This is really shocking because I have never heard that bike Carburetor is being changed after 4.5 years & in 21500 KM.

Prior to Honda Unicorn also I was having bike but I have never changed the Carburetor in 13 yrs with more than 50, 000 KM.

Why Honda is creating such Carburetor? Why consumer will suffer if there is some fault in Carburetor.
