I m a practicing chartered accountant. since the purchase of my two hp laptops i m facing problem. one already damaged due to manufacturing defects in mother board.

1. i got my laptop repaired at Dehradun during my visit at Roorkee. They replaced hard disk but didn't installed original windows however the license version was free. For this they said will take another 1 month. Alternatively you can get it from any hp service center. But when i visited at Agra hp outsourcing service center they said that the warranty is city wise, you have to make complaint at Dehradun center. What is this??? they are asking for Rs. 10000.

2. my charger damaged due to sparking at adjoining wire and due to this our bed sheet got damaged, safe due to water available at that time. Your service center said that physical damaged of charger not come under warranty and for repairing you have to pay Rs. 1000.

This shows gross negligence at the time of selling and poor customer service for replacing the same.

Hence this creates mental and financial harassment of the customer as a whole.

Kindly replace the currency immediately otherwise will lodged complaint at Consumer Forum.
