ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION & NOISE POLLUTION AND HAZARDOUS WORK CARRIED OUT BY H.P.C.L'S VENDORS

Sir,

Vehicles from H.P.C.L. Mahul Establishment are routinely contracted out fro the work of painting, denting & repainting to “ M/S. VASANT AUTO WORKS” at the above address, which happens to be my neighbour of next door.

The works are carried out by the said garage (In a Residential Zone, no less) in most primitive fashion without any regards to hazards posed and pollution created. Besides the owner of the garage also uses the vehicles to indulge in “DAADAGIRI” as what can one do to a government vehicle blocking your access or spewing out toxic paints, fumes & diesel fumes, slowly poisoning your family?

I am convinced that a reputed organization such as H.P.C.L. yours would want to review this and further contracts to the said garage out of humanitarian and environmental concerns alone, and the matter need be taken no further to enquire into the norms and criteria based upon which H.P.C.L. selects service vendors.
