HP COMPAQ LAPTOP PESSARIO V6000
DVD ROM NOT WORKING

Sir,

I have purchase HP Compaq Laptop Pessario V6000 in September. It has a warrantly for one year and now DVD ROM has got deffective even though I have not used the Laptop for more than two months. Please suggest action. I am from Hamirpur District of HP and there is no service centre in that district. Please confirm if the DVD ROM can be replaced on the cost of the company or otherwise. Also intimate cost of the DVD Writer to enable me plan its repair or replacement.
