Extension of warranty after lapse of 2 months at HP care centre, Kochi

Hii Guys,

i bought a laptop in Sept. 2006. HPDV5200tx for about 60, 000/-. i got the warranty extended by 2 years, so total of 3 years bcoz had a bad experience with my last laptop. The screen ceased to work last dec 1st and i gave in the laptop at the HP care centre, Kochi on the 3rd of Dec. The laptop remained at the HP centre for almost 2 months... i just got the laptop today. My laptop was not usable for 2 months for no fault of mine... The HP people say, The part came but it was faulty, so had to be ordered again..If its genuyine problem from their part, they should atleast ahve the courtesy of extending the warranty.

The service i got from the HP, chennai (parts office) too was very bad. They never cared to pick up the call too. A HR/complaints person was nice but he was good in just pacifying, nothing more..Please don't ever go for HP. Its real bad service..They just have promises and nothing solid.
