Routine check UP problem

My consumer number is 619016 and i stay in Mulund.
I have bought new GAS stove from HP GAS (Padma Shree) one year ago and was working fine with no problem. On 24th May one of HP Gas mechanic (Raju - 9821540911) came and told he has to do routine check UP for any kind of problem as per some rule. He did not give any routine check UP form or any other document. He worked on the stove and did some cleaning and took Rs.40 as Inspection charges.
After this routine inspection there was some kind of leakage from the stove and the entire was smelling with GAS. We thought may be due to the cleaning some smell might be coming.
But this smelling contnued on 25th also and so we immediately booked complaint with HP Gas. Then they send another mechanic (Brijwasi - 9930245618) who checked and told that there is valve problem which is causing this leakage and need to replace it. We had discussion / argument with that mechanic and told him that this is problem was caused by your mechanic. But finally i had no option but to agree changing both the valves costing around Rs.300
For me this looks like new way of looting money from customer. First day theys end some one for check up who causes some problem and the next day they come and correct getting money of it.
As the Hindi muhavara goes
"KAYA PIYA KUCH NAHI GLASS TODA BARAANA".
In this case there was unnecessary spending of Rs.340
The moral of this incident is be carefull before u allow any one to work / check UP on your HP GAS and STOVE.
Please help if some body can take action against such mechanic.
