How to get duplicate documents

I got my 1st gas cylender in 1992, then applied for 2nd cylender along with original documents later on I got cylender but not documents, though I asked for the same, staff told me that they will send by post. After one year I changed area. That time also they didnot handover my documentsinstead telephonically intimated the new locality distributor, hence then I am getting regular supply. Last week they are demanding my original documents. Where shall I and How I can get duplicate documents?
