Unable to install other software

This is anitha here, I'm working in HP, i bought HP pavilion dx2910tx model laptop 2 days before. When i was buying i told them that its for official use... they said ok. They installed windows vista premium OS on my laptop. Then when i try to install my Official software's they are telling not install any software's on vista premium. I contacted HP helpline they also telling the same like "as this is compatible version not install any software's on it, if you install lots of software problem will come". I was asking them for install "windows XP". But HP is telling if i install "Windows XP" they won't support technically, if any issues will come in future with related to laptop.

I bought this laptop of Official use... but i'm unable to use it now. I'm totally unhappy of this.
