Problem in mother board

Sir, I bought a laptop in Jan'2007. But, i face problem after 1 year warreny. One day, i shut down the laptop properly. After 1 hr. latter, i open it, but nothing shows in screen (but, power on). Hp says- " it's a motherboard problem. Change the mother board (Rs. 24000/-). There is no alternative option."

My Complain:

(1) Poor quality Serving (it is batter to say - replasing work, lay-mans work)

(2) Low quality Chines Spares mainly mother board, Ram.

(3) Servicing procedure are in long turm.

(4) No buisness ethics in india.

(5) Mother board price = Laptop price?
