Cheque against Credit Card payment nor cleared

I have dropped the Cheque pertainig to the SBI credit card payment almost 1 week back to ensure that i don't end up paying the interest on the bill amt. But the cheque which was dropped by me is yet not cleared & the ineterest is been charged on daily basis to me. This is really pathetic. Please help me
