Dear All,

I had applied an HSBC credit card after the Marketing guy promised that there would be no extra charges for filling at Gas outlets. Not to believe him, I checked with the HSBC service centre and they also confirmed the same. After due diligence, I went for the credit card. The problem started with charges being added on filling at gas stations. I had to call the service centre and ask them to nullify the charges. They used to revert upon my request everytime. This was a mental harrasment. The second case was I could not pay the due amount on date as I was not well. I informed the same to the service centre and paid the amount after 2 days. The call centre guys promised that they will revert the late payment fees and interest. This never happened. They went on charging month on month even though I have been in constant touch with them to remove such charges. Even though I asked them to transfer the call to Manager, they denied it. Then they started calling in abusive language and later I warned them that I will file an FIR against them for such abusive language. The calls stopped coming. After some time, a madam called and told if there were all issues becuase of HSBC and asked what to do. I told whatever is the principle, I am ready to pay as u start putting late payment fees even when I was ready to clear my principle it is your problem. She accepted the same and they provided me a settlement letter and confirmed that no more statements will come from HSBC and also the credit cards gets closed. I told fine. After 2 months, I started getting calls from New Delhi office from recovery deprtment asking me to pay the money again when already I have the settlement letter. So now I have thought of knocking the consumer court for case against abusive language and mental harrasement from HSBC.Also demanding money again even after settlement copy was provided. They have not yet closed my card and have informed me that the credit cards are still active.

The names of the concerned people from HSBC recovery panel for not verifiying the case properly and using abusive language is Sunny and few other peroson calling with different names and not ready to disclose their names.

Now not to attend their calls, I have asked them for a written communication and I will go with all the proof to Consumer court for rowdism, mental harrasement and bansk not keeping proper records nor updating the same in the cusotmer database. Such banks should not be allowed to operate and licenses should be revoked.
