HSBC Credit Card
Wrong outstanging

HSBC credit card (No-4384 5999 1539 3199) was issued to me in July'05 when a HSBC representative visited to my office. At the time of issuing I was told that this card was free of charges.

I NEVER USED this card.

The card was cancelled in Aug'06 by the bank.

To cancell the card I cut the it into four pieces and dropped it into HSBC drop box in Oct'06.

In Sep'08 I received a call from the bank to pay Rs. 14000.00 as outstanging.

I contacted customer care who also confermed that this card was NEVER USED, and they are unable to tell the reason for outstanging.

Kindly look into the matter and zerorise the amount wrongly debited against me.
