Fleecing the custome

I have a Gold card given by HSBC. In the month of October I delayed making the payment by a day and the bank chared me a penalty of Rs 6350 Taxed. This is inspite the fact that i have never delayed my payments to them over the past 5 years. Had the bank charged me 200 - 300 rupees, I would have felt bad but would have paid. Now, I am disgusted and cancelled my card. This is precisely the reason for bad debts as customers get competely pissed of at the behavior of the banks.
