Harassment and lowering of credit limit without any prior intimation

Hi,

HSBC reduced my CC limit from over 1 lac to 36, 000 without any intimation at all. This led me to face a lot of embarrassment and mental agony when I presented the card while buying something and the card was not honored because HSBC had reduced my limit. They also keep calling upto 30 times a day from 1st of every month till my due date of 12th. This is pure harassment and I would like to take legal recourse to this. Please advice.
