HSBC Credit Card

Dear Sir.

My name is Deepak Verma, and I held an credit card no 4384599994429560 with HSBC bank. I had this card when I was in Faridabad. When I shifted from Faridabad to Agra, I reported the change in address to the customer care. But due to some error the change in address did not happen and in the month of May I made a payment of some Rs 30000 to clear my dues. I did not have the statement from the bank but just based on my memory of how much I had purchased I made the payment. But even post this payment I never got a statement of my card and hence I never was able to know how much more or less had to be payed more.

With time I thought that they were not sending me statements because maybe I had cleared all dues. But to my surprise I got to know few days back that there is a credit of 47300 against my name. I only want to reach the bank officials and I want to clear the dues that were outstanding at that point of time, i.e when I payed the amount of Rs 30000 to the bank.

It is not possible that my principal standing at the time of my payments could have been more than 1000 or 2000 at max. I am ready to pay the principal amount and have NOC from the bank.

Kindly help me in settling the issue.
