HSBC Credit Card
Getting SMSes for HSBC Card which I never recieved

I had applied for an HSBC credit card but since now I have not recieved any Credit Crad from the Bank. However, I am continuosly getting SMS on my mobile giving statement detils saying that my HSBC credit card statement (it was a 0 balance statement). Many times I had informed to representatives of the Bank that I had not recieved the card, and requested them to forward my complaints to discontinue this vague account but in vain. Though every times it was 0 balance, Iam not at all comfortable getting statements in my name for a noon existent card. Today I have got an sms saying that HSBC Pre-statement alert: Outstanding on my card no. **********1064 on 20-Aug-08 is 1179.78. I am surprized??? it is also written that pay full or min amt due of 100.00 by 11-Sep-08???

Tell me what I do?

I am working in Ministry of Agriculture, & Consumer Affairs, Krishi Bhawan, New DelhiI and Iam thinking to make a complaint with Consumer Forum.
