Motherboard failure

Hi, I am Krishna. I bought a HTC Touch phone from Sri Vasavi Mobiles on Jan 5. Phone was working really good when i bought it. exactly after 6 months phone had connector problem. So went to HTC Touch authorised service center in Chennai - Salora. I got it repaired it at free of cost. Again, exactly on Jan 5 my phone had software problem so I went to Salora and they had upgraded the software to the latest for which they charged me as waranty had expired the previous day. At last my phone was totally dead on March 6. I went to the service center and they told me the motherboard had gone and it will cost Rs13000 to repair it. I was shocked when i heard it.

How can a phone go dead exactly after the waranty period? I dont know what to do in this regards. I need someone to help me in getting justice from the HTC Touch company.
