Tampered auto meter in hyderabad Reg. No. AP 11 X 3683

Today 10.01.2010 at 9.10 AM I took a autorickshaw No AP11 X3683 auto driver name mahamood (according to what he said me) ty meter. I regularly travel from Mehdipatnam ICICI bank to my office Gachibowli. Usually the fare ranges from 80-90 rupees.

But the auto I travelled today was showing 135/- a difference of nearly 45 rupees. As the meter was showing wrong reading I argued with the driver and asked him to stop after 4Kms. I said I travel regularly and the cost is never more than 90/-. I told him that I was not going to pay him any more than that but he did not listen and eventually ended up paying 135/- bucks.

But the meter was showing a difference of 45 rupees which is not at all acceptable.

I request you to please look into this matter seriously. He was very rude and arrogant. Request you to take action against excess charging and arrogant behaviour of the auto driver.

Is this the forum to lodge a complaint or there is another way of doing it? I remember that we can make a complaint by calling a telephone number, whick I lost. Anyone have any Idea about this?
