Hyd Passport Office
Shame on you... Hyd Passport office... 181 days now

I am writing this just to inform all that the hyd passport office is the most pathetic place on earth with no respect for anything. My son's renewal was applied in Jan and till date I have not received it inspite of everything being clear. I have made 3 visits to the filthy office... met the passport officer in the adalat etc... now left it to prayers to get me the passport. Unfortunately we don't have a choice.

some summary:

Applied in Jan for a renewal.

The status for the last 5 months was

"It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be sent in a week's time"

The status changed on 14th July to :

"Police report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by 31-07-08. Subject to all documents being clear"

Do these people have any sense of responsibility, guilt for such a pathetic service. They should privatise it and sit at home if they are not cable of running this service.
