NON RECEIPT OF FREE GIFT OFFER OF GOLD COIN WORTH RS 10, 000 EXTENDED TO THE CUSTUMERS BUYING CAR BETWEEN 09 SEP TO 23 SEP 2008

1. I Captain Atul N Gujar have purchased Hyundai I 10 Era (Metalic) from Fairdeal Hyundai, Ranchi on 10 Sep 2008 (Chasis No MALAM51BR8M090799 and Engine No G4HG8M453580).

2. As per your advertisement in Time of India dated 10 Sep a free gift of Gold Coin worth Rs 10, 000/- only was offered to the customers buying Hyundai Car between 09 Sep to 23 Sep But I was not provided with the assured gift by Fairdeal Hyundai, Ranchi.

3. On 15 Sep I had spoken to your Customer Care Executive on phone No 9873564645 regarding the free gift but I was told that since I have bought the car through Canteen Stores Department (CSD), this gift offer is not extended to CSD customers. It is not understand that how come your company relates the exemption in VAT given by the state Govt to Army Officers with the gift offer from Hyundai Company. This gift offer was exclusively from your company and you haven't provided any other discount to CSD customer, your Company can not take execuse against the exemption given by state Govt. Moreover, it is nothing in writing in your advertisement that this gift offer is not for CSD customers. Being your customer I believe company should be obliged to give me the free gift. If not possible kindly forward me your ruling in which it was stated that this gift offer is denied CSD customer, so that it will be convenient for me for processing my complaint further.

4. Otherwise also no free accessories or any extra item was given by the Dealer to me instead I was provided with local foot mats instead of original foot mats which are equiped with I 10 as basic accessories, on the pretext that presently they are not available with the Dealer.

5. In my Regiment, I am the fourth officer to buy Hyundai Car in last two months from the same Dealer and it was just a coincidence that I bought the Car on 10 Sep 2008 and hoped to be lucky to get the free gift offer which denied to me. It is very unfair and unHyundai like treatment given to your customer.

6. In the last I would request you to send me the rulling regarding non extension of above mentioned gift offer to CSD customers for my further action.

7. Prompt reply and action will be highly appreciated.
