Delay in Passport Application

Sir,

My name is Ankit Shrivastava and i have applied for passport from Indore on date 16/03 and my application number is Z287194 and as per the procedure i have gone through Police verification process but till date i am not able to get a proper update on website. On website its showing that my Police verification report is pending, i confirmed with Police as well and their update is that they have send my report long back to passport office. I need passport as i need to produce it to my company. If i can get any update on this. Hoping for a quick response.
