Wrong information produced by CIBIL

Hi

I have applied for a Personal Loan in ING Visya bank and in a verification call from back, they told me that my name is in CIBIL for a credit card default. But I had only one ABN AMRO credtit card with me that time which got closed in 2006 without any dues which bank people confirmed. Request you to please clarifiy this so that the request can be processed. Thanks in anticipation.

Note: I have seen many complaints about CIBIL regarding producing wrong information to the banks. PLEASE HELP US.
