Cashless Hospitilization under Mediclaim Policy

My Mother in Law (Mrs. Sushma Vij) has to be treated for problems post Cataract Operation for suspected damage to Retina of the eye. The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. Mediclaim Policy No. is 42060434081100000050. Policy Start Date was 8th March. And all the Annual Premiums have been paid till date. The third party agency, which helps in Cashless Hospitilization is UNIVERSAL MEDI-AID SERVICES PVT. LTD. They have issued the I-Card to my In-Laws, which is bearing No. : 030110001010000450. This I-Card is issued to my in-laws (Mr. Ramesh Kumar Vij & Mrs. Sushma Vij). All the hospitals in our region (like ICARE Eye Hospital & Glaucoma Research Center in Noida) have refused to accept any Cashless Hospitilization cases of UNIVERSAL MEDI-AID SERVICES PVT. LTD., as they have not paid the hospital in the past for previous Cashless Hospitilization cases. On further enquiry from UNIVERSAL MEDI-AID SERVICES PVT. LTD., We were told to speak to The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. Kanpur Regional Office as they are defaulters and have not paid for Claims processed by UNIVERSAL MEDI-AID SERVICES PVT. LTD. This chase for getting my in laws treated under Cashless Hospitilization has been going around after 15 days, with zero results. We have been chasing ICARE Eye Hospital & Glaucoma Research Center @ Noida for a written rejection on account of not accepting the Cashless Hospitilization Approval from UNIVERSAL MEDI-AID SERVICES PVT. LTD. To which they have shared their inability to do so in writing. Everytime they tell us to pay and get treated. They are not ready to share the Approval from UNIVERSAL MEDI-AID SERVICES PVT. LTD. And at the same time UNIVERSAL MEDI-AID SERVICES PVT. LTD. is not ready to fax the approval to any other no. also.
