Interest charged on Balance Transfer amount

Dear Sir, my card no. is 377040385041000.

On 20-03, I have received a Balance Transfer of Rs.10, 000/- on SBI Card.

As per instruction of your statement dated 06-04, I have paid Rs.721/- by cheque on 21-04, within payment due date 23-04.

But, at the statement dated 06-05, I observed an interest amount of Rs.7.89 with Service Tax of

Rs.0.81 charged. I can not understand the reason for charged interest.

Hence, I request your kindself to please waive the same as no interest will be charged on Balance Transfer as payment made within the payment due date as mentioned in your statement before 90 days of its original periode.
